The National Co-Mentoring for Diversity Programme
In 2006 CREC (The Council for Racial Equality in Cornwall) conducted a piece of research with us which identified the need for a mentoring programme to embrace diversity in all its forms to facilitate greater equality and community cohesion.
The Co-Mentoring for Diversity Programme has just been launched nationally launched and can be located on the following sites:
Unlike traditional mentoring courses, which focus on an unequal power relationship between the mentor and mentee, Co-Mentoring is based on equality meaning that all participants have the opportunity to gain a full Level 2 mentoring qualification.
Co-Mentoring for Diversity offers individuals limitless benefits:

Co-Mentoring for Diversity gives organisations the opportunity to:

This programme aims to be flexible and will be run over an academic year. It will include taught sessions, mentoring meetings, whole group support meetings, certification event and access onto further training opportunities.
